Toronto waterfront Condos
33 Harbour
Square
There is no question 33 Harbour Square has stood the
test of time. Built by the Campeau Corp. approximately 30 years ago, this
large complex along with the Harbour Castle hotel and 55/65 Harbour Square
are a unique neighborhood within the Harbourfront neighborhood. Many of
the original buyers at 33 Harbour Square continue to enjoy their units
today – a good indication of the original build quality.
33 Harbour Square
has some interesting double floor units which are a plus and a minus.
Older people buy condos to avoid stairs, so two floor units can be
counterproductive. On the other hand, many older owners have moved to
55/65 Harbour Square, so 33 is getting a much younger group.
A second concern
is that this was first high-rise built by Campeau Corp. The mistakes they
made were corrected in 55/65 Harbour Square so you expect to pay less at
33.
Asking Prices
start at about $250,000 for a bachelor to over $1.5 million for a 3 bdrm
penthouse or townhouse.
