Madison Avenue Loft, Our Review

They’ve got the power - At least on two sides anyway.  The Madison Avenue Loft has a major hydro transmission line directly to the south and a hydro sub-station directly to the east.  That may be because the 6 story building with 211 suites occupies the space rising from the former historical Toronto Hydro building.  A truly electrifying experience.  (For the record, we are not insinuating that there is any danger living this close to high powered electrical lines or stations. If the city, the builders, and their lawyers say its safe, then it must be safe – after all, have you heard any concerns from fine publications like the Globe and Mail, The Star or even The Toronto Sun about this location?) There is also a rail line directly south, but I don’t think it’s THAT busy, so noise shouldn’t be a problem? To the west of this complex is a building proposing government housing.

On a more positive note, directly to the north of this complex is the Castle Loma area with $1,000,000+ homes, Parks and bicycle trails.  And the structure is built to a high standard and offers a unique opportunity to own a beautiful, truly unique, loft home.  Prices range from $238.000 for about 730 sq ft to over $1,000,000 for over 1800 sq ft.
